About After Coffee

Good people, good times

After Coffee is a coffee shop in El Paso, Texas. It is listed at 810 Texas Ave Ste B, El Paso, TX 79901, which places it among the local businesses of El Paso that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as coffee roastery, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 7:30 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is after-coffee-re.square.site, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 38 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in El Paso.

El Paso is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around El Paso is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I got the lavender matcha with oat milk and it was so good! The matcha had such a vibrant green color too, not that brownish green you get at some places. Definitely one of the better matchas I’ve tried in El Paso. My friend is also really selective with coffee, and before coming here she was talking about how another coffee place she tried recently didn’t had good coffee. She ended up really loving this one too, which says a lot!

Stopped here for a coffee and decided to hang for a bit. Really neat spot. Plenty of tables and seating. Great place to meet friends or come in and get some work done while sipping on good espresso.

This place has all the right coffee shop vibes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Staff was friendly and the guy who helped us just had the warmest smile. The music was perfect volume loud enough to not hear others conversations but not too loud where you can’t hear your own. My latte was smooth and comforting. I ordered an iced lavender vanilla latte and my daughter ordered a matcha latte, both were great. I’ve been searching for a good lavender latte and this place has it. They make the lavender syrup themselves, absolute perfection. They only had one pastry due to the time I visited, the smashed croissant and it was dipped in chocolate, matcha and topped with strawberry crumble. So good, fresh, cozy and chill vibes. Parking can be sketchy so just make sure you are parked legally.

This place is so chill. It’s inside the brewery, but it’s super laid-back everyone just doing their own thing, minding their business, and vibing. We tried the Orange Creamsicle Tonic, the mon cheri latte (hot), the Wild Berry Bloom Matcha Latte, and the Matcha Soda all sooo good. If you decide to stay, they even serve your drinks in fancy cups, which makes it feel a little extra special. Oh, and the music? A whole vibe.
